Q: "How does your pricing work?"
A: Our pricing is simple. We have three possible charges.
Labor- $80/Hour - Service Fee- $65 & Parts (if your repair requires them)
Most first time customers ask about the Service Fee. Our Service Fee is just like the service fee that plumbers, electricians, carpenters, ect. charge to arrive on site. This charge is absolutely necessary for any mobile business. It pays for wear & tear on the vehicle used- pays for the gasoline that we all know is not cheap & most of all it pays for time spent traveling (which is definitely something to consider in Austin).
You get charged ONE Service Fee to complete a repair. If we need to return with parts any amount of times you will not be charged an additional Service Fee.
Q: "Can I get an estimate before the repair?"
A: We can always give you an estimate before anything gets started. After years working on anything and everything, we have a good idea of how much time most jobs take. Obviously, in certain cases, the repair ends up needing more than expected and exceeds the estimate. In that case we always try to do what's right for the client financially, personally & mechanically for the bike.
